Shipments and returns

Your pack shipment

Packages are generally dispatched within ONE WORKING DAY day after receipt of payment and are shipped via the carrier chosen by the customer.

We offer all our customers a choice of Shipping options....

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are free except for Rods which attract a Surcharge to cover Packing in a Heavy Duty PVC Pipe & Large Parcel Surcharge. We advise you to group your items in one order. We cannot group two distinct orders placed separately, and shipping fees will apply to each of them. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.

Note for Customer's residing outside The Republic of South Africa:

a) Please select  Customer Collect at World of Fishing on CHECKOUT. Unfortunately we are unable to offer Postal or Courier Delivery Services to Regional (Southern African) nor to Overseas Based Customers. Note that 15% RSA VAT is INCLUDED in our Prices. We will issue Copy VAT Invoices with the Shipment in order for your Courier / Agent to claim back on your behalf at Point of Border Departure, these arrangements and costs between customer & his agent.  

b) Please select the Mygate Secure Credit Card Payment option. We do not accept S.W.I.F.T. wire transfers as we are unable to accept S.W.I.F.T. wire transfers. Some Non-South African Banks and Credit Card Companies require specific Security Clearance Procedures with regard to payments made to "foreign" clearing houses.  

c) Note that 15% RSA VAT is INCLUDED in our Prices. We will issue Copy VAT Invoices with the Shipment in order for your Courier / Agent to claim VAT back on your behalf at Point of Border Departure, these arrangements and costs between customer & his agent.  

For All Customers:

Carrier Method: Customer Collect at World of Fishing,

Collect at Our Retail Showroom located at Northcliff Atrium, 189 Beyers Naude Drive, Northcliff, Johannesburg 2095.

Collect yourself, or have a friend or courier collect.

There are no Handling or Carrier Fees associated with this service unless Secure Rod Packaging is Requested.

NB...We respect the Value of Your Purchase, POSITIVE PHOTO I.D. (or a Courier Waybill in Your Name) will be requested before the goods are released if pre-paid.

For South African Destinations:

Carrier Method: SA Postal Services - ECONOMY PARCEL DELIVERY.

This is an Economy Counter to Counter service to your Specified Local Post Office.

We deliver to the Local Post Office Counter within One Working Day of Reciept of Payment. We notify You of the SAPO Tracking Number which you can use on www.sapo.co.za to track the lcurrent location of the parcel.

When the parcel reaches your destination Post Office, You collect at the counter.

It generally takes 3 - 5 Days to reach destination.

The goods are NOT insured during Transit. The risk of loss or damage rests with the customer.

Carrier Method: SA Postal Services - SPEED SERVICES.

This is an Economy Counter to Counter service to your Specified Local Post Office.

We deliver to the Local Post Office Counter within One Working Day of Reciept of Confirmed Payment.

We notify You of the SAPO SPEED SERVICES Tracking Number which you can use on www.sapo.co.za to track the lcurrent location of the parcel.

When the parcel reaches your destination Post Office, You collect at the counter.

It generally takes 1 - 2 Days to reach destination.

The goods are NOT insured during Transit. The risk of loss or damage rests with the customer.

Carrier Method: "THE COURIER GUY" DOOR TO DOOR

This is a PREMIUM DOOR to DOOR Courier Service anywhere in South Africa (EXCEPT RURAL FARMSTEADS).

The Courier Collects Same Day (If Payment Reciept is recieved before 10h00), or Next Working Day Morning.

We notify You of the TRACKING NUMBER & Call Centre number for Tracking.

The Courier Guy Delivers generally as follows:

Next Working Day: Greater Metropolitan Areas Local or Served by a Regional Airport such as the Gauteng Metroplex (Acacia in the North, Witbank in the East, Randfontein in the West & Sasolburg in the South), Durban, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Richards Bay, East London, George, Kimberley and Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth). 

NB: If the Shipment includes over- sized parcels or flamable goods, (e.g. Fishing Rods, aerosol cans, dips & dyes, gas cannisters or bulk carp feeds), then road freight is utilised and up to one additional day is needed for delivery. 

Two - Three Working Days for Outlyng Cities, Towns and villages NB: If the Shipment includes over- sized parcels or flamable goods, (e.g. Fishing Rods, aerosol cans, dips & dyes, gas cannisters or bulk carp feeds), then road freight is utilised and up to one additional day is needed for delivery. 

The goods are ARE INSURED during Transit TO A MAXIMUM LOSS VALUE of ZAR 2 000.00 (Two Thousand Rand).
